National Advocacy Qualification
The National advocacy qualification was developed in collaboration with the Department of Health and is designed to help you learn more about how to represent an individual's interests and how to support them to interact with other individuals, organisations and agencies
The Certificate in Independent Advocacy and Diploma in Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy-Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, are for anyone whose job involves independent advocacy support. You could also take the qualifications if you're just starting off in the sector, or if you have a different job that sometimes involves advocacy skills.
The qualification training is delivered by organisations that are registered with City and Guilds to do so.
Attached here is a list of registered training organisations and the dates of their events. The trainers are listed in no specific order. ARX are not involved in the delivery of any of the training and provides this information in an unbiased way that does not recommend one training organisation above another. If you are interested in any organisation or want to know more about them you will need to contact them directly.
